| Henna Henna painting has been used for hundreds of years. The leaves of the henna plant are dried and powdered to be mixed into a paste which is used to dye the skin, hair, nails and even fabric and leather. Traditionally henna is used on the hand and feet and gives a reddish/brown colour, which lasts between 1-3 weeks. It is completely natural and painless. Our Henna Body Art (Mehndi) course will teach you how to apply temporary ‘tattoos' using natural henna and stencils. For those of you who prefer to create your own designs and effects, you will also learn freehand application, using a cone applicator (just like a mini icing bag,) filled with henna paste. You can make your design as simple or intricate as you desire.
